Privacy Policy

Neven & Son Contractors LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a licensed and insured general contractor (PA HIC License #PA184277) based in Jenkintown, PA, serving Montgomery County and the greater Philadelphia area.

We collect information you give us directly — through our quote request form, subcontractor or partner applications, or in conversation with us — and use it to respond to you, prepare estimates, schedule work, and run our business. We do not sell your information, and we protect it with standard security practices described in Section 11.

When you request a quote, apply as a subcontractor or partner, or reach out directly:

• Contact details Name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method
• Property information Property address, service(s) needed, project description
• Project preferences Budget range and desired timeline (when you choose to share them)
• Uploads Photos of the space, an inspection report, or other files you attach
• Anything you tell us directly Messages, call notes, or details shared in conversation

Standard for any website, collected by our hosting provider as part of serving pages and keeping the site secure — see Section 5:

• Technical data IP address, browser type, device type
• Usage data Pages visited, referring website, approximate location (derived from IP, not GPS)

Once we're actively working on your project (a scheduled consultation or later), we may also collect:

• Property details Measurements, room dimensions, existing-condition photos of structure, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Scope & planning Consultation notes, scope of work, material and finish selections
• Site logistics Parking, access, whether the home is occupied during work, and similar on-site facts
• Permit information Whatever your municipality requires to review and approve the work
• Project documents Proposals, contracts, and invoices

• Respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
• Coordinate subcontractors so they can quote and perform work without needing to visit first
• Apply for permits with your municipality when the scope requires it
• Process payments and financing applications you choose to pursue
• Maintain project records for warranty, legal, and tax purposes
• Improve our website and tools based on how they're actually used
• Prevent fraud and abuse of our forms and systems

In practice, this means: communicating with you about your project, sending estimates and project updates, running internal business operations (scheduling, dispatch, bookkeeping), quality control, and customer service.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

This is the actual list of outside services our website and internal tools use today — not a generic list. We update this section whenever that changes.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Maps, Google Fonts, or any third-party advertising or tracking network. If that changes, we'll update this section and Section 6.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site and which marketing efforts actually bring in leads. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (typically named _ga and similar) in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions.

Necessary: none beyond what your browser needs to function.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4, as described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Preference: none currently.

Attribution storage: separately from cookies, we store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage — which channel first brought you to the site (e.g., a search engine, a referral link, or a specific ad campaign) and your most recent visit's source. This is used only to understand which marketing efforts produce leads, and is included with a form submission if you contact us. It contains no personal information on its own and is never sold or shared with advertisers.

In the future: if we add advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, we'll update this section and add a consent banner if required by law.

During consultations and active projects, we take photographs to:

• Prepare accurate estimates
• Document existing conditions before work begins
• Coordinate subcontractors so they can quote and plan without an extra site visit
• Support permit applications where required
• Document project progress
• Maintain records for warranty and legal purposes

We don't share photos publicly, or with anyone outside people directly working on your project, without your permission.

As a general contractor, we coordinate licensed subcontractors to perform specialty trade work. When we do, we share only the project information a subcontractor actually needs to estimate, schedule, or perform their portion of the work — scope, relevant photos, measurements, and site logistics. We don't share more than that, and we don't share it with subcontractors who aren't being considered for or working on your project.

When a project requires a permit, we submit the relevant project information to your municipality or the appropriate permitting authority (for example, Montgomery County or the City of Philadelphia) as part of the standard permit application and inspection process.

We're building internal tools that help us estimate, plan, and permit projects faster — for example, looking up a property's year built, lot size, or municipality from publicly available county assessment records instead of asking you to track that down yourself.

Where we do this, we combine your property address with publicly available property records, permit databases, and municipality data — not private third-party data brokers — solely to improve estimating, planning, permitting, and project management for your project. As we add more of these lookups over time (additional counties, permit-history sources, and similar), this section covers that expansion; we're noting it now so this policy doesn't need a rewrite every time we add one.

We use standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire site
• Secure cloud storage and database hosting via Supabase
• Access controls and authentication for our internal tools
• Limiting access to personal data to the people who need it to do the work
• Regular backups

No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable, ongoing steps to protect your information and address issues quickly if they arise.

We keep different kinds of records for different lengths of time, generally only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law:

• Lead inquiries that don't turn into a project may be retained for a limited period for follow-up, then deleted
• Project records, contracts, and invoices are retained for the periods required by Pennsylvania contractor-licensing, warranty, and tax recordkeeping rules — generally several years
• Photos and permit documentation are retained alongside the related project record
• Tax documentation is retained per IRS and Pennsylvania requirements

Our website is a business site for a general contractor and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site links to third-party sites we don't control — for example, Acorn Finance for financing pre-qualification. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites. Once you leave nevenandson.com, that site's own privacy policy applies.

We may update this policy periodically as our website and tools evolve. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally, especially if you've shared information with us in the past.
